Given today’s ever-tightening school budgets, outside funding is no longer a nicety but a necessity. Athletic departments routinely look to booster clubs, corporate sponsors, and alumni to cover costs of uniforms, scoreboards, equipment, transportation, and more. As an athletic director, coach, or other administrator charged with securing these funds, your success is based primarily on how effective you are in developing a network of funding sources and establishing and nurturing long-lasting relationships with these key providers.
Raising Funds through Booster Clubs, Sponsors, and Fundraisers was the topic of our free webinar, held Wednesday, October 30, and brought to you by ASEP and Clell Wade Coaches Directory. The webinar was led by Bob Buckanavage, executive director of the Pennsylvania State High School Association.
