Students watch the DVD and follow along with award-winning educator and host Carol Scaini as she demonstrates each exercise routine. The DVD contains five ready-to-go fitness routines lasting 10 minutes each, plus a 7-minute warm-up and stretch routine. Each routine requires minimal prep time, and teachers can vary the routines to keep kids interested and having fun. The DVD includes printable PDF documents that contain descriptions of each exercise along with tips on presenting and managing those activities.

Carol Scaini, ME, is a teacher in Ontario and an
additional-qualification health and physical educator instructor for the
Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.
She has developed innovative health and physical education curriculums
and projects since 1995 and has presented at several conferences. Ms.
Scaini has received the CAHPERD Young Professional Award and numerous
teaching awards, including the Prime Minister Award for Teaching
Excellence and the Award of Distinction from the Peel District School
Board, the latter in relation to her work in codeveloping Hooked on
DPA (Daily Physical Activity). During her leisure time she enjoys
being with family and friends as well as being active.
