Lee E. Brown, EdD, CSCS*D, FNSCA, FACSM, is professor of kinesiology and director of the Center for Sport Performance at California State University at Fullerton. Before joining the faculty at Cal State Fullerton in 2002, Dr. Brown spent two years at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro as director of the Human Performance Laboratory. Before moving to Arkansas, he spent 16 years in Florida serving as research director for an orthopedic surgeon’s office and teaching and coaching at the high school level. He is a fellow of both the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Dr. Brown received his bachelor’s degree in physical education from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. He completed his graduate work and obtained his EdD from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.
Vance Ferrigno is an exercise physiologist and golf performance specialist for the Cliffs Resort in Greenville, South Carolina. He is a fellow of applied functional science, ACSM health fitness director, ACSM health fitness specialist, USA Cycling level 2 coach, NSCA certified strength and conditioning specialist, and USA Weightlifting level 1 coach. Ferrigno earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Florida State University.
