The NEW Physical Activity Pyramid For Teens:
This new version of the well-established Fitness for Life Physical Activity for Teens Poster features examples of the five types of physical activity. It helps students determine how much activity is enough for each type (left side of pyramid) and shows teens some of the benefits of each (right side of pyramid). The dangers of inactivity (bottom of pyramid) and the benefits of energy balance (top of pyramid) are highlighted. Developed by Chuck Corbin, creator of the successful Fitness for Life program, this 24-by-36-inch poster is an excellent tool for teaching key concepts of physical activity and fitness.
