Anna-Louise Bouvier is a registered physiotherapist and the creator and Executive Director of Physiocise (physiocise.com.au) which teaches classes to over 1400 people a week at two clinics in Sydney, Australia. Author of three bestselling books on back pain, Bouvier appears in the Who's Who of Australian Women. As well as being Today Show’s ‘Feel Good Physio’, Bouvier presents Qantas in-air audio designed to educate, entertain and remind passengers how they can make their flight more comfortable by being aware of how they sit, stand and carry when travelling.
Over the last 10 years Bouvier has worked in the fitness industry teaching injury prevention, and as a specialist consultant in overuse injuries to elite athletes, for which she was named Australian Fitness Presenter of the Year in 2004. Bouvier writes for numerous magazines and is a busy corporate speaker on the topic of ‘Sitting, Stress, Sleep and Surviving Corporate Life’.
Writing, presenting and producing the 29 episode Happy Body series for ABC TV has led to this most recent publication of four DVDs. Bouvier’s passion is exploring the link between mind and body wellness, including how to get the most out of your body in everyday life. Her DVDs are visually engaging, innovative and medically based, and will show how to take the load off the body and the brain.
