The Learning Network is an Internet-based, interactive resource for communities and active aging professionals that provides a practical approach for communities to learn from one another through mentoring and information sharing. It brings together those interested in creating healthy communities by bridging research and practice through an innovative approach of e-collaboration and networking. It also serves to increase collaboration between government agencies, academia, nongovernmental, and for-profit organizations.
The Learning Network is a partnership between Active for Life and the National Blueprint. It collaborates with the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s Aging Initiative and the CDC Healthy Aging Research Network, and it receives technical assistance from the Healthy Aging Research Network.
