The American Sport Education Program has been training coaches for more than 25 years. Through its Volunteer Coaches Education Program, ASEP provides coaches of athletes ages 14 and under the most comprehensive and affordable coach training program for youth sport organizations available anywhere in the country. Numerous national sport organizations, youth sport organizations, and park districts have partnered with ASEP to bring education to their coaches, and we can do the same for your organization.
The ASEP Coaching Youth [Sport] courses are offered as classroom courses and online courses. Whether face-to-face or virtual, the courses provide coaches with baseline knowledge in the areas of communication, team management, sport first aid, and sport-specific techniques and tactics.
Coaching Youth [Sport] courses are available for baseball, basketball, cheerleading (classroom only), cricket (classroom only), football, hockey (classroom only), lacrosse (classroom only), soccer, softball, tennis, track & field (classroom only), volleyball, and wrestling. There are a number of ways you can implement the program, and volume discounts are available. Depending on the number of coaches you train, you can offer these courses for as little as $11.97 per coach for online courses and $10.17 per coach for classroom courses.
