Dixie Youth Baseball, Dixie Boys & Majors Baseball, and Dixie Softball are tiered youth Baseball and softball programs for boys and girls eighteen (18) years of age and younger, playing on diamonds of various dimensions to meet the physical development of the growing child. The main purpose of Dixie programs is to provide a recreation outlet for as many as possible with emphasis on local league play rather than tournament play.
Dixie Boys Baseball, Dixie Youth Baseball, and Dixie Softball have partnered with the American Sport Education Program (ASEP) to provide online training and certification for Dixie coaches. As the exclusive coaching education provider to Dixie, ASEP hosts a Dixie Coaches Education Program Web site through which Dixie-branded online coaching youth Baseball and softball courses are delivered to the organization’s combined 75,000 coaches.
