H1N1 and Tweens

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Center for Health Marketing is announcing an update to CDC’s Web site for tweens (ages 9 - 13).  The BAM! Web site has been updated to included 2009 H1N1 flu information.  Please take a look at the Body and Mind (BAM!) Web site at http://www.bam.gov and http://www.bam.gov/site_flukrew.html  and help get the word out to educators about flu prevention and youth.

BAM! Body and Mind is an online destination for kids created by CDC.  The Web site is designed for youth between the ages of 9-13 years old. BAM! Body and Mind gives them the information they need to make healthy lifestyle choices. The site focuses on topics that youth find important and uses youth-friendly lingo, games, quizzes, and other interactive features.

BAM! Body and Mind also serves as an aid to teachers, providing them with interactive, educational, and fun activities that are linked to the national education standards for science and health.
