Through its educational, research, and service activities, the Center for Successful Aging at California State University, Fullerton, promotes the health and vitality, and the reduction of frailty and disability in later years.
Statistics indicate that as life expectancy has increased, so too has the possibility of living more years with long-term disease, disability, and frailty. For many, however, simple lifestyle changes can slow or reverse age-related declines. Research shows that even moderate changes in diet and exercise can prolong one’s active life for many years. The Center’s programs are committed to enhancing the quality of life.
