After two years of hard work I am pleased to announce that Fitness for Life: Elementary School will be introduced at this year’s AAHPERD National Convention in Indianapolis (March 16-20). The video-based program for grades K-6 complements the award winning Fitness for Life (high school) and Fitness for Life: Middle School. My co-authors and I (Guy Le Masurier, Dolly Lambdin, and Meg Greiner) invite all attendees of this year’s convention to join us at a special session (2:00 pm Wednesday, March 17) at which Fitness for Life: Elementary School will be introduced. A demonstration of program activities will also be held on Thursday afternoon (March 18). Additional information will be available at the Human Kinetics booth in the exhibit area.
