What are the main features of LifeSize?


 

LifeSize can do the following:

Compare a single subject’s anthropometric profiles at different testing times.

Compare the anthropometic profiles of two or more individuals.

Find the sports that best match the individual’s height and mass, percentage of body fat, and somatotype.

Examine "what if?" scenarios by changing one or more values.

Calculate the technical error of measurement for repeated antrhropometry measurements.

LifeSize uses three anthropometric profiles for body composition and size and shape assessment (complete information on profiles can be found in chapter 6). Height and mass are common measurements for all three profiles. The profile types are as follow.

Full profile: 40 measurement sites, including 9 skinfolds, 13 girths, 6 breadths, and 10 height measurements. Restricted profile (identified by the symbol ®): 18 measurements, including 9 skinfolds, 5 girths, and 2 breadth measurements. Fitness profile (identified by the symbol ƒ): 12 measurements, including 8 skinfolds and 2 girth measurements.
