Every time I enter a student’s name in the database, I receive an error message. How do I correct this?

If you try to add students’ names into your class list and you get a message saying they are already in the database, it might be that the database has lost that connection.

  • To find the students, open the Teacher Edition.
  • Click on the Student icon on the left side.
  • Select Teacher All and Class All on the right side.
  • In the list, locate the first missing student’s name and click on it to highlight it.
  • Click Edit.
  • Verify that the teacher and class are correct.
  • Click OK.
  • The student should now appear in the class list.
