Improving physical performance of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease by strength training: With growing life expectancy the risk of Alzheimer’s disease increases. The aim was to investigate the effects of strength training on motor function and physical performance. Measurements were isometric strength test of the lower extremities, chair stand test, arm curl test, posturographic balance test, and test of simple reaction time.
