USA Bowling Congress Coaching

The United States Bowling Congress Coaching officially launched January 1, 2005, as the organization to serve amateur adult and youth bowlers in the United States. It resulted from the merger of the American Bowling Congress, Women’s International Bowling Congress, Young American Bowling Alliance, and USA Bowling. Today, USBC serves more than 2.6 million members. Based in Arlington, Texas, the USBC is the national governing body for bowling as recognized by the United States Olympic Committee. USBC Coaching offers three core levels of certification for coaching: Level 1, Bronze, and Silver.

USBC Coaching certified coaches can achieve ASEP Bronze Level certification by completing the ASEP Coaching Principles and Sport First Aid online or classroom courses, completing USBC Coaching’s bronze course, and having a valid CPR card. In 2007-08, varsity scholastic programs were offered in 20 states and 52,226 students participated in the sport.
