Grants to Find Mechanisms of Functional Recovery After Stroke Available

The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke seeks applications from institutions and organizations that propose to find brain mechanisms to improve and develop new approaches to functional recovery after stroke. The amount of funds and number of grants are contingent upon the availability of funds and the number of outstanding applications. Eligible organizations include public- or state-controlled and private institutions of higher education, nonprofits, governments and other entities.

Applications will be accepted throughout the year until May 7, 2011. For more information, go to http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PAR-08-250.html.
