Health for Life, First Edition

Welcome to the ancillary website for Health for Life.

State adoption reviewers: Sign in, then select “Reviewer Instructions” at the left for information regarding access to sample materials.

School and district reviewers: Teacher resources are free to course adopters and access is granted by your Human Kinetics K-12 sales manager. Contact a sales manager to request access.

Some of these files are in Microsoft Office® formats. If you do not have software that allows you to open or view these files, free software is available for download at OpenOffice.org that will allow you to do so. Human Kinetics, Inc., is not affiliated with OpenOffice.org in any way.

The teacher web resource includes supplemental materials for instructors to use in the Health for Life program.

  • Daily lesson plans, including five lessons per chapter

  • Answer keys for the worksheets and quizzes
  • Presentation package of slides with the key points for each lesson

Test Package

  • Make your own tests and quizzes.
  • Choose from hundreds of test questions.
  • Download Respondus or RTF files or files formatted for LMS use.

Student Web Resource

For students, web resources include the following:

  • Worksheets without answers
  • Self-assessments and healthy living plans
  • Review questions from the text in an interactive format so students can check their level of understanding
  • Vocabulary builder to help students learn the key terms and definitions from each chapter
  • Expanded discussions of topics marked by web icons in the text
