Programmers need to be aware that some of their program participants may have disabilities that affect the delivery of programs. Program accessibility means that people with disabilities have the ability to participate in recreation programs through support or accommodation. In addition to the program evaluation, documentation gathered during the program (see the previous step) is used to evaluate how effectively the program helped the participant achieve the program goals and objectives.
