The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of moxibustion treatment for reduced pain due to hallux valgus during activity. All study subjects had chronic pain for at least 6 months with a mild hallux valgus deformity (hallux valgus angle of less than 20°). In conclusion, indirect moxibustion is potentially effective in the therapy of pain due to hallux valgus.
