Human Kinetics, the premier publisher in the field of sport, fitness, sport science and physical activity, is seeking a Managing Director for our office in Leeds. We pride ourselves on developing product suites relevant to our audience and thus we have a strong technology strategy, developing eBooks, online courses, eJournals and apps.
HKE has seen strong growth in the last 3 years of 30%+. Our focus on the Middle East and Eastern Europe has paid dividends, whilst eBook expansion in the UK has increased sales in the home territory.
Requires a strong background in publishing or an excellent understanding of the sport sciences and relationships across the groups of professionals which Human Kinetics regularly interacts. Must have a proven track record of developing staff and driving innovation.
