E-Learning and Assessment Department Director

The director of the E-Learning and Assessment department at Human Kinetics has three primary roles: 1) to guide HK strategy related to e-learning and assessment; 2) to advise product acquisition staff about best practices for developing, producing, and delivering online courses and assessments; 3) to oversee instructional designers who develop and produce e-learning products. The director will also work closely with technical staff and tools that are involved with the production and delivery of courses, ancillary instructional material, and knowledge and performance tests. Desired qualifications: master’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, or testing & measurement; related experience and demonstrated knowledge in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of online instructional content and assessments; experience supervising staff; and knowledge of the e-learning field and industry trends. A background in sport science, sport and fitness instruction, or physical education is preferred.
