Older Athletes Don't Want to Stop

Senior athletes love participating in sports and they don’t want their aging bodies to slow them down. We see senior competitions in numerous sports and the number of people getting involved is growing.

However, we all know that the risk of injury increases with age. For example, ankle sprains are less likely and a fracture with the same injury is more common. With continuous improvements in medical technology and older adults that are more fit, surgery becomes a more viable option, but the first step is for senior athletes to exercise and condition to lessen the chances of injury.
