Bill Harper is a professor and head of the health and kinesiology department at Purdue University.
He teaches courses in history of American sport, Greek and modern Olympics and philosophy of sport. His column also appears in the kinesiology department’s electronic newsletter, Vitality. He enjoys reading and participates in animal rescue.
Harper lives in West Lafayette, Indiana.
