The Grambling (Louisiana) State University College of Education, Department of Kinesiology, Sport and Leisure Studies, is seeking a Coordinator, Leisure Studies Program (LSP), Associate professor, with course work in therapeutic recreation, leisure studies, recreation, gerontology, mental retardation, outdoor resources, and/or curriculum development; tenure track position pending Board of Regents approval. Minimal requirements include EdD/PhD required in therapeutic recreation, leisure studies, recreation, or related field. Must demonstrate interest in the areas of pedagogy, grant writing, research and publication, and other scholarly activities; be actively involved with professional organizations; have teaching experience at the university level; and have the CTRS/CLP or be in the process of securing the certification.
