Anthony A. Vandervoort, PhD, is a professor and associate dean in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. He teaches courses on gerontology/geriatric rehabilitation and human neuromuscular function. His research focuses on the effects of aging on human neuromuscular function and the application of these findings to rehabilitation programs for older adults with mobility impairment. He also serves as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Aging and Physical Activity.
