I don't find any difficulty with involving 'older' people in my research. I think one of the keys is the level of interest the researcher can generate about the project when talking to or recruiting potential participants. I feel this applies irrespective of the type of project. There should be something in it for the participant. If they sense the project to be of value TO SELF I find they are more than willing to be involved.
Scientists believe that our brains continue to develop through and beyond middle age. But there is debate over whether we can train middle-aged brains to work better. What do you think?
