Four guidelines are outlined in this document. Adults are encouraged to think of activity as an opportunity and be active in many different ways every day. At least 30-minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity (does not have to be continuous) is recommended on most if not all days with vigorous activity being promoted for more physically able adults. Guidelines are not specific to older adult segment of population.
