Glasgow Caledonian University has teamed up with the British Heart Foundation National Centre for Physical Activity and Health at Loughborough University and the International Coalition on Aging and Physical Activity (ICAPA) to stage the 8th Annual World Congress on Active Ageing (WCAA) in Glasgow, Scotland in 2012. This five-day Congress will attract the worldwide community of researchers, policy makers, and practitioners.
The WCAA programme will be designed to celebrate the diversity of ageing and, in particular, will focus on the needs of the oldest and frailest population, often excluded from both research and practice.
